Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has unveiled a new mosque in Moscow on September 23.The President was joined by the Turkish and Palestinian heads of state at the opening ceremony of the new Mosque, which is the biggest in the country's capital.

The cost of the mosque surpassed $160 million, and was funded by private donations. The mosque was unveiled on Wednesday, ahead of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha.
