This popped up in my email today, a campaign apparently running in Germany in the fight against AIDS.

Too far? Or not far enough?
Be sure to click on ‘Campaign’ and watch the video. Warning, scenes of nudity, sex, and political taboo.
The “AIDS is a mass murderer” campaign uses historical figures linked to… well, mass murder, to raise awareness on the deadly nature of HIV.
Though an interesting idea, one might worry that in fact it will probably stir a negative sentiment for the people who have HIV, and not just the disease itself. Indeed, the person spreading AIDS through sex is in fact portrayed as Hitler.
Too much? Or not far enough in combating this virus?

A company you can trust your life with
Business is good for Jose Manuel Barroso, the current and President-(s)elect-to-be of the the European Commission (also former Prime Minister of Portugal). Or is it? Roaming around Brussels we snapped a glimpse into Barroso’s backup plan. Indeed, if his position as President of the EC is not confirmed, Barroso has already set up a lucrative business of Ambulance and Taxi service, based and operating out of Luxembourg (obviously for tax reasons).
As it says on the company’s website, “Barroso Taxis est synonyme de ponctualité, rapidité et efficacité.”
After all, could we expect anything less from the President?
